Gas price comprises: price index + supplier’s margin
- Price index = Baltic Gas Spot Index BGSI value (wholesale price) for the Lithuanian market area at the GET Baltic natural gas market.
For example, the BGSI price for January 2022 was at 93.17 EUR/MWh, and for February – 81.67 EUR/MWh.
- Supplier’s margin (fixed price component) about = 7.00 EUR/kWh.
This margin is preliminary and depends on your consumption, transmission capacity averaging costs, fees for the admission to the transmission system, balancing costs, purchasing costs, costs of supplier’s operations, your payment history, etc.
