Definitions used in the Terms

Ignitis Latvija – SIA "Ignitis Latvija", registration No. 40103642991, legal address: 74A Gustava Zemgala gatve, Riga, LV-1039.

User –user of the customer self-service website mans.ignitis.lv.

Terms – these terms of use of the customer self-service website mans.ignitis.lv;

Services – services provided remotely by Ignitis Latvija on the customer self-service website mans.ignitis.lv, including the possibility to view contracts concluded with Ignitis Latvija, invoices issued, download invoices and contract files, as well as receive notifications from Ignitis Latvija related to the contracts concluded. The portal is continuously developed and may be supplemented with other services and/or additional functionality.

Portal – customer self-service website mans.ignitis.lv, where the Services provided remotely by Ignitis Latvija are available.

General terms

1.    These Terms determine the terms of use of the Portal for Portal Users, including registration and authorisation procedures, the basis of responsibility for non-compliance with the Terms and other terms and regulations.

2.    The Portal is a website where all the information and Services contained in the Portal are available to registered Users of the Portal who are customers of Ignitis Latvija and receive natural gas and/or electricity trading and/or other services, the management of which is provided through the Portal.

3.    A registered User of the Portal can view the invoices, contracts, and notices addressed to the User or the company represented by the User, as well as download the files of the mentioned documents and use other Services, if such are implemented on the Portal.

4.    Ignitis Latvija has the right to amend the Terms of Use of the Portal. The amendments enter into force after the updated version of the Terms is published on the Ignitis Latvija website.

5.    Users are obliged to familiarise themselves with and comply with the Terms. The User's authorisation on the Portal is considered a confirmation that the User is familiar with the Terms and agrees to comply with them.

6.    The User is informed that in connection with maintenance, service or improvement works of the Portal and related systems therein, temporary interruptions of the operation of the Portal are possible.

Registration

7.    Natural persons who are clients of Ignitis Latvija or have been granted the right to represent a client of Ignitis Latvija can register on the Portal.

8.    Actions to be taken for registration on the Portal (step by step):

9.    The User can change e-mail address before the successful verification of the e-mail address.

10.    The User can request a new registration code. When requesting a new registration code, the previous registration code becomes invalid for use.

11.    The User receives the registration code within a few minutes to the specified e-mail address.

12.    In order for the User to be successfully authenticated and recognised, a valid contract shall be concluded with Ignitis Latvija and, if the User is a legal entity, the natural person must be registered in the commercial register as a representative of this legal entity in order to register on the Portal. In the event that a natural person does not have the right to represent the company or the company of the User is not found in the Ignitis Latvija clientele, the User will not be registered on the Portal and will be informed thereof. In cases where a natural person has the right of representation on the basis of a power of attorney, in order to register on the Portal, it is necessary to contact Ignitis Latvija by writing an e-mail to [email protected].

Authorisation

13.    Registered Users can be authorised on the Portal.

14.    To authorise on the Portal, the User must identify itself with a Smart ID, ID card or eParaksts mobile.

15.    If the User does not have the right to represent the company or the User is not found on the Portal, the User will receive a notification thereof. In such cases, it is necessary to contact Ignitis Latvija by writing an e-mail to [email protected].

User data

16.    The controller of personal data is Ignitis Latvija. User data is processed in accordance with Ignitis Latvija's privacy statement and cookie policy.

17.    The User is informed that the processing of the User's personal data is necessary for the User's identification, providing services to the User and the use of the Portal's services, therefore limiting the processing of personal data and/or deleting personal data or objecting to the processing of personal data may make the use of the Portal impossible.

18.    User data is verified and displayed using Ignitis Latvija data systems. In case of discrepancy, it is necessary to contact Ignitis Latvija by writing an e-mail to [email protected].

19.    Ignitis Latvija is entitled to set restrictions on the technological solutions (versions of access protocols, operating systems and browsers) with which the use of the Portal is available, and which may change from time to time, for the purpose of safe use of the Portal and receipt of Services.

User responsibility

20.    The User is obliged to follow changes to the Terms on the Portal. In the event that the User does not agree to the changes to the Terms, the User has the right to stop using the Portal at any time and use other means of information exchange with Ignitis Latvija.

21.    The User is responsible for all actions upon authorisation on the Portal. Any notice addressed to the User by Ignitis Latvija, submitted using the Portal, is binding on Ignitis Latvija and the client on whose behalf the User is acting, in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreement.

22.    Ignitis Latvija has the right to send notifications to the User within the framework of the concluded agreements using the Portal. The User is obliged to regularly check the information available on the Portal and familiarise themselves with the notifications received.

Deleting a user

23.    The User account is deleted:

24.    In case of deletion of the User's account, the User's Information is deleted from the Portal, with the exception of the data whose storage obligation results from other obligations of the User or such data storage obligation results from regulatory enactments.

25.    To delete the User's account, the User needs to contact Ignitis Latvija by writing an e-mail to [email protected].

26.    Portal mans.ignitis.lv is the property of Ignitis Latvija. All content found on the Portal, including design, texts, software code, is the property of Ignitis Latvija. At the same time, it is prohibited to use trademarks owned by Ignitis Latvija, UAB "Ignitis" and/or AS "Ignitis grupė" in any scope and for any purpose. Any trademarks owned by Ignitis Latvija, UAB "Ignitis" and/or AS "Ignitis grupė" may be used only with the written consent of Ignitis Latvija for the use of a separate trademark, which determines specific terms and conditions of use of the trademark.

27.    Publishing or using the content of the Portal for commercial purposes is prohibited. No part of the Portal may be reproduced in any form and by any means without the written consent of Ignitis Latvija. The User undertakes not to modify, publish or distribute the Portal in any way. In case of violation of intellectual property rights, the guilty persons may be prosecuted according to the procedures specified in the regulatory acts, as well as they are fully responsible for caused and possible losses to Ignitis Latvija.
